Durantou i Lalande-de-Pomerol
Les Cruzelles er en af de vine, hvor Lalande-de-Pomerol ikke skal forklares undskyldende. Den kommer fra Durantou-familiens kreds og står i materialet tydeligt placeret som den mere seriøse og strukturerede vin ved siden af La Chenade. Blend er angivet af flere anmeldere som 85% Merlot og 15% Cabernet Franc, og høsten fandt ifølge Martin sted fra 29. august til 12. september.

Neal Martin beskriver Les Cruzelles 2025 med brombær, blåbær og viol, som tager til i energi i glasset. På paletten fremhæver han runde tanniner, præcis syre, en glidende Lalande-de-Pomerol-form og hvid peber i eftersmagen. Det er en stærk note, fordi den peger på både håndværk og balance, ikke kun frugt.

Perrotti-Brown ser en mere ekspressiv vin med kirsch, sorte hindbær, saftige blåbær, syren, træmos og vild salvie, støttet af faste, finkornede tanniner og sprød friskhed. Hindle er lige så positiv i en mere umiddelbar retning: mørk, floral aromatik, urter, cremet blå frugt, saftig tekstur og en harmonisk balance mellem frugt, syre og tannin. Hun kalder den et sikkert valg for pris og fornøjelse.

Anson beskriver viol, blomster, kamille, nellike og ristede urter, men noterer også at vinen skal have tid i glasset for at komme helt i gang. Galloni giver den mest kælderorienterede læsning: mere ler i denne del af vinmarken giver bredere tekstur og mørkere frugt end La Chenade, med sort kirsebær, lavendel, nellike, mentol og lakrids. Han understreger, at tanninerne er markante, og at vinen kræver tid.

Les Cruzelles 2025 ser derfor ud som en Lalande-de-Pomerol med mere end appellationens sædvanlige drikkeglæde. Den har mørk Merlot-frugt, Cabernet Franc-løft, 55% ny eg og struktur nok til at kræve tålmodighed. Ikke monumental, men seriøs, velbygget og klart værd at følge.

Refined, elegant with lots to like. Ageing 55% new oak. A go-to for price and pleasure.
