Caillou Blanc er den elegante og karakterfulde hvide vin fra Château Talbot – en af Saint-Juliens mest ikoniske ejendomme. Den blev allerede i 1930’erne skabt som et pionerprojekt, og har siden markeret sig som én af Médocs mest vedholdende hvide succeser.

2022-årgangen er et blend af 71 % Sauvignon Blanc og 29 % Sémillon, gæret og lagret med bâtonnage som i Bourgogne. Resultatet er en vin med både dybde og friskhed – eksotiske frugter, florale noter og en let salt mineralitet spiller flot sammen og giver vinen en levende, cremet og raffineret profil.

Caillou Blanc er en vin, der kan nydes ung – men som også kan udvikle sig smukt over nogle år.

    Soft gold in colour, with fleshy peach and nectarine notes on the opening. Keeps the aromatics a little subdued, but this does a good job of marking the opulence of the vintage in its texture without sacrificing lift. A white wine with impact and character, and it's impressive.
